- 500 grams beef steak sliced into thin strips
- 2 bell peppers sliced
- 1 onion sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- 1 cup water or beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
Prepare the ingredients by slicing the beef into thin strips and cutting the bell peppers and onion
Place the beef in a bowl and mix with soy sauce and cornstarch until well coated
Heat oil in a large pan over high heat and cook the beef until browned then remove from the pan
Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the same pan and cook until slightly soft
Pour in water or broth and a little more soy sauce then let the sauce cook until it thickens
Return the beef to the pan and mix everything together until well combined
Cook for a few more minutes then remove from heat and serve hot
Slice the beef thin for the best texture
