Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Butter unsalted
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream or Heavy cream, pastry cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract optional
  • ¼ cup Chocolate optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan until the butter melts.
  • Add the flour and stir quickly until the dough forms.
  • Cook for a few minutes to remove extra moisture.
  • Beat the eggs into the dough one at a time, mixing until smooth and shiny.
  • Preheat the oven.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Pipe the dough into small rounds on the tray.
  • Bake until the cream puffs are golden and puffed.
  • Whip the cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Add vanilla extract or chocolate if desired.
  • Cut the baked shells in half or make a small opening.
  • Pipe or spoon the cream filling into each shell.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle chocolate on top.

Notes

Do not open the oven early or cream puffs may collapse
Cool shells completely before filling to avoid sogginess
Use fresh eggs for best puffing and texture
